However, the testing procedures have sparked widespread confusion regarding the definition of radiological emergencies in clinical settings. A potential solution lies in broadening the scope to include 'radiological events', covering accidents, incidents or other type of unjustified exposures. Utilizing realistic scenarios can enhance the radiological protection system within institutions, specifically addressing situations that might lead to unwanted patient exposure.
