A unique collaboration of multi-disciplinary experts from the European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO), the European Dermatology Forum (EDF), and the European Organization of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) was formed to make recommendations on cutaneous melanoma diagnosis and treatment, based on systematic literature reviews and the experts' experience. Cutaneous melanomas are excised with one to two-centimeter safety margins. For a correct stage classification and treatment decision, a sentinel lymph node biopsy shall be offered in patients with tumor thickness ≥ 1.

Purpose: BRAF and MEK inhibitors are used to treat a range of paediatric tumours including low-grade gliomas. The ubiquitous nature of the BRAF/MAPK/MEK pathway means such treatments are not without side effects such as renal tubulopathies and hyperglycaemia. This study aims to describe the endocrine dysfunction observed in a cohort of children treated with BRAF and MEK inhibitors at the largest paediatric centre in the UK utilising these treatments.

Background: Limited treatment options exist for inoperable thyroid cancers. We evaluated whether neoadjuvant use of systemic tyrosine kinase inhibitors facilitates surgery of differentiated thyroid cancers in this challenging context.

Methods: A single-institution experience of 42 patients receiving tyrosine kinase inhibitors for papillary, follicular and anaplastic thyroid carcinomas between 2018 and 2023 was reviewed to identify differentiated thyroid cancers treated with neoadjuvant tyrosine kinase inhibitors (dabrafenib/trametinib, lenvatinib/pembrolizumab, or lenvatinib alone) via multidisciplinary protocols.

Introduction: Most pediatric low-grade-gliomas (LGG) and some high-grade-gliomas (HGG) have alterations in the RAS/MAPK pathway. Promising high tumor response rates were achieved using BRAF/MEK inhibitors, however data on their use in low-middle-income-countries (LMICs) are limited.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed our Jordanian experience of using compassionate BRAF/MEK inhibitors in treating children with gliomas.

Recent advances in Rosai-Dorfman-Destombes disease (RDD), notably molecular testing, targeted therapy, and PET-CT imaging, hold promise for better recognition and improved outcomes. This study presents patients diagnosed and treated in a "real world" setting, where navigating limited resources must be considered. This retrospective single-center review includes 15 adult patients diagnosed with RDD at Vancouver General Hospital between November 2015 and October 2023.
