Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma are neoplasms derived from T cells and B cells and their precursors in the lymphoid system with higher susceptibility in involvement of extra-nodal sites. Predominant ureteric involvement is an unusual presentation. We present a case of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with secondary involvement of ureter who had symptoms of urinary tract infection in absence of positive urine culture, non-responsive to broad spectrum antibiotics and masquerading pyogenic infection leading to pyelonephritis with ureteritis. Radiological examination revealed mass like soft tissue thickening of ureter extending from renal pelvis throughout the length of ureter. FNAC as well as biopsy from the periureteric thickening revealed lymphomatous involvement of ureter. The following case report provides insight on differentials and varied symptoms of lymphomatous involvement of ureter.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the impact of preoperative stenting on surgical outcomes and complications in patients with bilateral ureteric stones, specifically assessing its role in reducing the need for subsequent interventions.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted at a tertiary center over eight years, involving 82 patients with bilateral ureteric stones. Patients were divided into two groups: Group 1 (no preoperative stenting) and Group 2 (preoperative stenting).

Urethrovaginal fistulas are rare complications often arising from urethrovaginal injuries commonly due to obstetrical trauma, urethral surgeries, pelvic fractures, or neoplastic treatments. Here, we present a unique case involving a 23-year-old female patient with a large urethrovaginal fistula and complete anterior vaginal wall sloughing following prolonged obstructed labor. Nine months post-cesarean, she reported urine leakage via the vagina upon catheter removal, which intensified in an erect posture.

The aim of the present study was to determine the prognostic significance of a novel marker, the red cell distribution width to lymphocyte percentage (RDW-to-LYM%) ratio, in patients with upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) after radical nephroureterectomy (RNU). The clinical and follow-up data of 625 patients with UTUC receiving RNU were retrospectively analyzed. The optimal cut-off value of the pre-treatment RDW-to-LYM% ratio was determined as 0.

To assess the accuracy of Kidney Stone Calculator(KSC), a software designed for surgical planning, in predicting the duration of lithotripsy during flexible ureteroscopy(FURS) when using the novel pulsed-Thulium: YAG(p-Tm: YAG) laser. From February to August 2023, a single-center prospective study was conducted, including patients with kidney or ureteral stones through non-contrast computed tomography(NCCT), who underwent FURS with p-Tm: YAG laser lithotripsy. KSC used three-dimensional segmentation of the stones from NCCT images, along with an interactive user interface for laser settings, to estimate the stone volume(SV) and the lithotripsy duration(LD).
