Background: Transgender and nonbinary (TGNB) individuals are increasingly intentionally becoming pregnant to raise children, and hospital websites should reflect these trends. For prospective TGNB parents, a hospital website is the only way they can assess their safety from discrimination while receiving perinatal care. Cisnormativity enforced by communication gaps between medical institutions and TGNB patients can and has caused delays in receiving urgent care during their pregnancy.

Introduction: The 2018 Common Rule revision intended to improve informed consent by recommending a concise key information (KI) section, yet provided little guidance about how to describe KI. We developed innovative, visual KI templates with attention to health literacy and visual design principles. We explored end users' attitudes, beliefs, and institutional policies that could affect implementing visual KI pages.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess the levels and sources of noise in the emergency intensive care unit (EICU) of an emergency department and investigate their effects on the sleep quality of conscious patients.
Methods: A study was conducted on patients admitted to the EICU from December 2020 to December 2023. They were categorised according to their sleep quality with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index.

Background: Social media provides dementia prevention researchers with additional opportunities to engage diverse audiences, including healthy individuals who unaware of their eligibility to take part in dementia-related research. Background: The Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI4), whose goal is to validate biomarkers for AD clinical trials, aims to increase participation of individuals from historically underrepresented populations (URPs) so results are more generalizable. ADNI uses digital marketing to recruit and enroll older adults into a digital cohort, for screening into in-clinic ADNI. Challenges and insights from initial marketing efforts, including enrollment rates, local demographics, and effectiveness at enrolling URPs are presented.
