A base promoted oxidative [4+2] annulation of pyrrole-2-carbaldehyde derivatives with o-hydroxyphenyl propargylamines for the synthesis of highly substituted indolizines has been developed. Using DBN as base, a broad range of 5,6,7-trisubstituted indolizines have been prepared in good to excellent yields under mild conditions, and many useful functional groups can be tolerated.

In this study, phosphoramide compounds were successfully synthesized a series of reaction transformations from P(O)H compounds. The process began with the formation of P-Se-Ar bonds, facilitated by the synergistic effect of phenylboronic acid, selenium, and appropriate ligands in the presence of copper. Following this, nucleophilic substitution reactions with amine compounds were conducted to create P-N bonds.

Additive manufacturing (AM) of magnetic materials has recently attracted increasing interest for various applications but is often limited by the high cost and supply chain risks of rare-earth-element (REE) magnetic precursors. Recent advances in nanomanufacturing have enabled the development of rare-earth-free (REF) magnetic materials, such as spinel ferrites, hexaferrites, MnAl, MnBi, Alnico, FePt, and iron oxides/nitrides, which offer promising alternatives for printing high-performance magnetic devices. This review provides a detailed overview of the latest developments in REF magnetic materials, covering both synthesis strategies of REF magnetic materials/nanomaterials and their integration into AM processes.

Low-energy light ion beams are an essential resource in lithography for nanopatterning magnetic materials and interfaces due to their ability to modify the structure and properties of metamaterials. Here we create ferromagnetic/non-ferromagnetic heterostructures with a controlled layer thickness and nanometer-scale precision. For this, hydrogen ion (H) irradiation is used to reduce the antiferromagnetic nickel oxide (NiO) layer into ferromagnetic Ni with lower fluence than in the case of helium ion (He) irradiation.

Two-dimensional (2D) PtSe has attracted significant attention in recent years owing to its exceptional optoelectronic properties. Currently, the contact interface of the PtSe/bulk 2D-three-dimensional (3D) p-n heterojunction exhibits numerous defects. Moreover, the n-type bulk materials serve as a carrier transport layer, resulting in serious recombination losses and deterioration of device stability.

Silicon (Si) is regarded as a promising anode material owing to its high specific capacity and low lithiation potential. The large volume change and the pulverization of silicon during the lithiation/delithiation process hinder its direct energy storage application. This review focuses on the electrospun silicon/carbon (Si/C) nanofiber anode materials for lithium-ion batteries for long-term stable energy storage.
