Background: Various dressing materials have been evaluated for pulpotomy of primary teeth. However, an ideal pulp dressing material has not been identified yet. This systematic review investigated the effectiveness of TheraCal compared to Formocresol in pulpotomy of primary teeth.

Materials And Methods: This research was conducted in the form of a secondary study, with a systematic search of texts until 2023 in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed and Google Scholar databases. The articles were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria and, finally the search results were reported in the PRISMA chart. The quality of the studies was evaluated based on the NIH checklist. The extracted information was entered into Stata17 software. Heterogeneity was evaluated using Cochran's chi-square test and I statistics. Egger's tests were used to detect publication bias

Results: After removing duplicate articles and articles that did not meet the inclusion criteria, 4 studies were selected for qualitative analysis. The odds' ratio of success rate between Formocresol and TheraCal pulpotomy for absence of the pain, abscess, Mobility, internal root resorption and bone radiolucency was obtained 1.12 (95 % CI: 0.32, 3.85, P = 0.86), 0.47 (95 % CI: 0.1, 2.14, P = 0.33), 0.82 (95 % CI: 0.21, 3.21, P = 0.78), 0.89 (95 % CI: 0.3, 2.67, P = 0.84), and 1.96 (95 % CI: 0.68, 5.62, P = 0.21) respectively.

Conclusion: The study results revealed that there was no significant difference in clinical and radiographic success between pulpotomy with TheraCal and Formocresol.

Background: In TALAPRO-2, the poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase inhibitor talazoparib plus the androgen receptor-signaling inhibitor enzalutamide improved radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) versus placebo plus enzalutamide (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.63; 95% CI, 0.51-0.

Purpose: The relationship between sagittal lumbopelvic alignment and the bony pathomorphology of hip dysplasia is currently at the forefront of clinical and scientific interest. The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a compensatory lumbopelvic aspect associated with the two major acetabular phenotypes in dysplastic hips.

Methods: From September 2022 to March 2024, a total of 145 patients with symptomatic bilateral hip dysplasia were included in the study.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the correlation between longitudinal monitoring of donor-derived cell free DNA (dd-cfDNA) in lung transplant recipients and a "gold standard" of existing tools (pulmonary function testing, radiographic imaging, laboratory and bronchoscopy data, clinical judgment) to assess allograft function.

Methods: 24 consecutive transplant recipients were prospectively enrolled in this study measuring dd-cfDNA levels monthly in the first year after bilateral lung transplant. Blinded clinical adjudications were performed at the same timepoints to categorize allograft function as stable (FEV1 within 10% of prior value or when compared to best two averaged post-transplant values) or unstable.

Esophageal perforation (EP) resulting from nonaccidental trauma in a neonate is extremely rare. We report a previously healthy 12-day-old neonate presenting with stridor, respiratory distress, and bloody vomitus. Clinical, radiographic, and endoscopic evaluations confirmed the diagnosis of EP.

Purposes: The objective of this study was to investigate intra-articular distal radius fractures, aiming to provide a comprehensive analysis of fracture patterns and discuss the corresponding treatment strategies for each pattern.

Methods: 294 cases of intra-articular distal radius fractures lines were collected and clustered thorough K-means and hierarchical clustering algorithm. The demographic data of patients and the clinical treatment outcomes were recorded.
