Introduction: Young childbearing sexual minority (SM) people are more likely to use cannabis and to have an unintended pregnancy than their heterosexual peers; however, little is known about their perceptions and experiences of peripartum cannabis use. This qualitative study explores the relationships young pregnant and parenting SM people have with cannabis, as well as their feelings and opinions about prenatal cannabis use.
Method: Participants who identified as SM from baseline surveys of the YoungMoms study were recruited for semi-structured qualitative interviews (n = 13).

Behavioral dysfunctions in dogs represent one of the main social concerns, since they can endanger animals and human-dog relationship. Together with the trigger stimulus (human, animal, place, scent, auditory stimuli, objects), dogs can experience stressful conditions, either in multiple settings or unique situations, more often turning into generalized fear. Such a dysfunctional behavior can be associated with genetic susceptibility, environmental factors, traumatic experiences, and medical conditions.

While cognitive impairment has been documented in ulcerative colitic patients, the possible influence of central β3-adrenergic receptor (β3-AR) signaling on this extraintestinal manifestation remains unclear. Previously, we identified an imperative role for mirabegron (MA) as an agonist of β3-AR, in decreasing the BACE-1/beta-amyloid (Aβ) cue in the colons of UC rats. Consequently, we investigated its therapeutic potential for alleviating cognitive impairment associated with UC.

This study investigates the optimization of cutting conditions for machining titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) using Response Surface Methodology (RSM), with the goal of minimizing tool-chip interface temperature and surface roughness. The research focuses on key cutting parameters to investigate the most effective combinations for enhancing surface finish and reducing thermal impact during machining. The present study deals with the dry turning of Ti-6Al-4V alloy with carbide alloy inserts in a way to utilize the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to develop predictive models for minimum surface roughness and optimum temperature.
