The Chinese horned toads, (Boulenger, 1899) and (Pope, 1929), are two captivating species within the family Megophryidae, which inhabit the mountainous streams in the Eastern of China. In this study, two new complete mitochondrial genomes of and were sequenced, assembled, and annotated using next-generation sequencing. The length of mitochondrial genomes of and was 16,597 and 17,921 bp, respectively, with both containing 13 protein coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes, and one putative control region. Phylogenetic relationships based on protein-coding mitochondrial genes showed that the two species formed a cluster with other species. The two new sequences provide valuable insights into the mitochondrial genomes of these two species, offering important data for understanding the phylogenetic relationships of the genus .

is an important plant pathogen in maize and other cereals that is seldom detected as the cause of human fusariosis. Here, we provide the analysis of the available diversity of sequenced worldwide and report the first two genome assemblies and annotations (including mitochondrial DNA) of from clinical settings. 05-0160 (IUM05-0160) and 09-1037 (IUM09-1037) strains were obtained from the bone marrow and blood of two immunocompromised patients, respectively.

The family Apataniidae consists of two subfamilies, Apataniinae and Moropsychinae. Currently, there are 204 valid species of Apataniidae, which are widely distributed throughout the northern hemisphere. The larvae typically inhabit cold-water environments, and they serve as biological indicators for monitoring the health of freshwater ecosystems.

Using next-generation sequencing data, the complete mitogenomes of six species from the genus were assembled. This study explores the mitochondrial genomes of species, among them the five species from the complex, comparing them with each other and with other species from Dolichoderinae subfamily to understand their evolutionary relationships and evolution. mitochondrial genomes contain the typical set of 13 protein-coding genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNAs, and the A + T-rich control region.

Ithonidae (moth lacewings) are an enigmatic, small family of the insect order Neuroptera (lacewings). Its phylogenetic position within Neuroptera and internal subfamily relationships remain unresolved. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) of Tillyard, 1916 representing the first mitogenome of Ithoninae, as well as the complete mitogenome of Liu, Li and Yang, 2018, were newly reported.
