Background: Psychostimulants and nonstimulants have partially overlapping pharmacological targets on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), but whether their neuroimaging underpinnings differ is elusive. We aimed to identify overlapping and medication-specific brain functional mechanisms of psychostimulants and nonstimulants on ADHD.
Methods: After a systematic literature search and database construction, the imputed maps of separate and pooled neuropharmacological mechanisms were meta-analyzed by Seed-based Mapping toolbox, followed by large-scale network analysis to uncover potential coactivation patterns and meta-regression analysis to examine the modulatory effects of age and sex.

Cytoplasmic dynein-1, a microtubule-based motor protein, requires dynactin and an adaptor to form the processive dynein-dynactin-adaptor (DDA) complex. The role of microtubules in DDA assembly has been elusive. Here, we reveal detailed structural insights into microtubule-mediated DDA assembly using cryo-electron microscopy.

Background: Space exploration has become a major interest for scientific and medical research. With increasing duration and frequency of manned space missions, it is crucial to understand the impact of microgravity on the cardiovascular health of astronauts. We focus on this relationship by reviewing literature that explores how microgravity affects several hemodynamic parameters and cardiovascular biomarkers.

Although several studies have identified positive experiences of family members who were given the option to be present during their loved one's resuscitation, the actual impact of family presence during resuscitation on family members remains elusive and needs to be explored comprehensively. This review aims to identify the impact of being present during the resuscitation event of adult patients in in-hospital settings on family members.

Hearing impairment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis has been underestimated for decades. Rheumatoid arthritis can affect both the middle ear (specifically, the incudomalleolar and incudostapedial joints) and inner ear (including the cochlea and acoustic nerve) simultaneously. Despite ongoing research, consensus on effective treatments for hearing impairment in these patients remains elusive.
