Objective: To present and analyze eight clinical cases illustrating the use of rose stem cell-derived exosomes (RSCEs) in treating various dermatological conditions and to review current literature on plant-derived exosomes in medicine and dermatology.
Background: RSCEs possess low cytotoxicity, high biocompatibility, and effective cellular uptake, making them promising agents for dermatological therapies. A literature review included in the introduction and discussion covers the broader role of plant-derived exosomes, highlighting their therapeutic potential in skin treatment.

Although the pathophysiology of pain has been investigated tremendously, there are still many open questions with regard to specific pain entities and their pain-related symptoms. To increase the translational impact of (preclinical) animal neuroimaging pain studies, the use of disease-specific pain models, as well as relevant stimulus modalities, are critical. We developed a comprehensive framework for brain network analysis combining functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with graph-theory (GT) and data classification by linear discriminant analysis.

Complex N-glycans are asparagine (N)-linked branched sugar chains attached to secretory proteins in eukaryotes. They are produced by modification of N-linked oligosaccharide structures in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus. Complex N-glycans formed in the Golgi apparatus are often assigned specific roles unique to the host organism, with their roles in plants remaining largely unknown.

We use a TNF-overexpressing Crohn's disease (CD) model (Tnf ), which typically presents in the terminal ileum (TI), to investigate how environmental factors interact with the host's immune susceptibility to drive region-specific disease. We identified , an intracellular bacterium and murine counterpart to the human sexually transmitted , as necessary and sufficient to trigger disease manifestation in the ascending colon (AC), another common site of human CD.

Background: Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare, autosomal dominant disorder causing swelling attacks in various parts of the body, resulting in impacts on health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The symptoms of HAE and its impacts on HRQoL have been well-documented in adults; however, relatively little is known about the experiences of adolescents with HAE. The objective of this study was to use qualitative interviews to investigate how adolescents experience HAE symptoms and how HAE impacts their HRQoL.
