The Maternal and Infant Health Section of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is pleased to announce an update to the Perinatal Health Indicators (PHI) Data Tool. The interactive Data Tool on the PHAC Infobase website presents statistics on maternal, fetal and infant health in Canada based on data from the Canadian Institute for Health Information's (CIHI) Discharge Abstract Database (DAD), the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS), and the Canadian Vital Statistics (birth, stillbirth and death databases). The data include 20 indicators grouped into four key health domains: health behaviours and practices, health services, maternal outcomes, and infant outcomes. For this update, five new indicators were added and three existing ones were modified. To access the latest Perinatal Health Indicators Data Tool, visit https://health-infobase.canada.ca/phi/.

Background: This study aims to explore the interplay between body mass index (BMI), neutrophils, triglyceride levels, and uric acid (UA). Understanding the causal correlation between UA and health indicators, specifically its association with the body's inflammatory conditions, is crucial for preventing and managing various diseases.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 4,286 cases utilizing the Spearman correlation method.

Background: The prevalence of trauma among individuals with HIV has prompted efforts to integrate trauma-informed care (TIC) into HIV care and treatment to improve health outcomes. A TIC Implementation Model, developed by a US capacity-building organization focuses on organizational changes, aligning cultural and physical environments, emphasizing values like safety and trustworthiness, engaging leadership, and training staff in skills-based TIC services. Despite growing research, gaps remain in understanding the relationship between organizational capacity, provider knowledge, and the dosage of technical assistance (TA) required to sustain TIC integration.

Background: High-throughput behavioral analysis is important for drug discovery, toxicological studies, and the modeling of neurological disorders such as autism and epilepsy. Zebrafish embryos and larvae are ideal for such applications because they are spawned in large clutches, develop rapidly, feature a relatively simple nervous system, and have orthologs to many human disease genes. However, existing software for video-based behavioral analysis can be incompatible with recordings that contain dynamic backgrounds or foreign objects, lack support for multiwell formats, require expensive hardware, and/or demand considerable programming expertise.

Background: This study aimed to construct a radiomics-based imaging biomarker for the non-invasive identification of transformed follicular lymphoma (t-FL) using PET/CT images.
Methods: A total of 784 follicular lymphoma (FL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and t-FL patients from 5 independent medical centers were included. The unsupervised EMFusion method was applied to fuse PET and CT images.
