This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the clinical characteristics, complications, and management strategies associated with snakebite envenomings in Taiwan. Taiwan is inhabited by six principal venomous snakes: , , , , , and , each presenting distinct clinical challenges.

Background: The RAVE-Renal study was conducted to evaluate the real-world efficacy and safety of avelumab plus axitinib as a first-line therapy for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC).
Methods: RAVE-Renal was a multicenter, noninterventional, ambispective study with both retrospective and prospective components. The study included adult patients with histologically confirmed mRCC, measurable disease per RECIST version 1.

Although it is important to develop strategies for the early detection of severe irAEs, there is a lack of evidence on irAEs associated with ipilimumab plus nivolumab therapy for metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
