Background: Due to the unique geographical and climatic conditions in Nagqu (Tibet), the blood station laboratory was only fully established and accredited by 2020. This study validated the performance of the laboratory's blood screening system and analyzed recent trends in blood donation and screening effectiveness.
Methods: Various serum samples were used to assess the performance of hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, and syphilis tests, both serological and nucleic acid tests.
Background: Accurate estimates of incremental cost (IC) attributable to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) provide information of immense public health importance to the policy makers. Here, we present the IC from patient perspective for treating antimicrobial-resistant pathogens in India.
Methods: This cohort study was conducted in eight hospitals including government (GH), private (PH) and trust hospitals (TH), considering their ownership, geographical location and categories of cities.

We analyzed 13,152 genomes from BIG and found significant genetic diversity, with 50% of participants inferred to have non-European or several types of admixed ancestry. Ancestry within the BIG cohort is stratified, with distinct geographic and demographic patterns, as African ancestry is more common in urban areas, while European ancestry is more common in suburban regions.

Slope instability represents a substantial secondary hazard post-earthquake, leading to considerable socio-economic losses from the destruction of structures, infrastructure, and human lives. This study addresses the urgent need for precise evaluation of seismic slope stability, a subject that has gained significant attention in earthquake engineering over the past decade. A theoretical framework is proposed that utilizes an improved Sarma method, estimating seismic forces and safety factors based on limit equilibrium theory.
