: This paper serves as an up-to-date narrative review of the most effective methods and outcomes of ovarian tissue cryopreservation (OTC) with new data comparing this method to oocyte and embryo cryopreservation as well as its utility in restoration of endocrine function. : Data on OTC are becoming more available as more patients are achieving cancer remission and choosing to use their cryopreserved tissue to conceive or restore endocrine function. With OTC only recently becoming a non-experimental method of fertility preservation, it is important to evaluate, compare, and optimize current practices to improve live birth outcomes. : A literature search of meta-analyses, systematic reviews, case series, retrospective studies, and randomized control trials was performed using the PubMed database with multiple search terms. : Current practices and outcomes of OTC remain heterogeneous, though they are becoming more streamlined with the emerging data on successful live births. Multiple aspects of OTC have been studied to optimize protocols, particularly methods of cryopreserving, in vitro maturation, and transplantation. In vitro follicle maturation is a novel application with emerging data on methods and outcomes. OTC is a versatile method not only for fertility preservation but also for hormone restoration as well. With wider usage of OTC, ethical dilemmas will need to be addressed. : OTC can be used as fertility preservation for a variety of patients. Recent studies suggest it may be comparable to embryo cryopreservation, but with growing data on live births, comparative studies should continue to be performed. In vitro follicle maturation (IVFM) is a promising application of ovarian tissue harvesting. Data are lacking on cost-effectiveness, patient satisfaction, and morbidity associated with OTC.

Objective: To evaluate the impact of the different types of neoplasms and lineages on Sjögren syndrome (SjS) patient mortality.
Methods: Medical records review study based on the Spanish Hospital Discharge Database and the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification coding list. The neoplasm-related deaths in SjS patients with the general population during the period 2016-2019 were compared.
Granulosa tumors are rare tumors arising from the cells of the sexual cord and stroma of the ovary. They account for 5% of ovarian cancers and 70% of stromal cancers of the sex cords. Retroperitoneal tumors (RPTs) are also rare and develop in the retroperitoneal and subperitoneal space.

The ovarian oncobiome is subject to increasing scientific focus, but a potential link between bacterial dysbiosis and ovarian carcinogenesis remains controversial. Our primary aim was to characterize the bacterial microbiota in epithelial ovarian cancer samples. Secondarily, we aimed to compare results from the bacterial microbiota in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded ovarian tissue samples from 194 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube tissue samples from 16 patients with serous tubal intraepithelial carcinomas and in benign fallopian tube tissue samples from 25 patients.

Objectives: Epithelial ovarian cancer is a significant contributor to cancer-related mortality in women, frequently recurring post-treatment, often accompanied by chemotherapy resistance. Dietary interventions have demonstrated influence on cancer progression; for instance, caloric restriction has exhibited tumor growth reduction and enhanced survival in animal cancer models. In this study, we calculated a transcriptomic signature based on caloric-restriction for ovarian cancer patients and explored its correlation with ovarian cancer progression.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Immunohistochemical analysis (IHC) revealed markedly elevated expression of IL6ST in endometrial tissue of patients with ovarian endometriosis. Level of methylation of IL6ST is diminished in patients with endometriosis, whereas level of mRNA expression is markedly elevated by RT-PCR.
