Data Sources: The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Trip, CINAHL via EBSCO, EMBASE via OVID and ProQuest searched up to June 2023. Any clinical study with parallel arms and matched malocclusion severity should include permanent dentition participants with mild to mild-to-moderate anterior crowding. Participants should have undergone orthodontic treatment with either orthodontic labial fixed appliances or removable clear aligners. Total treatment time (primary outcome), chair time, number of appointments, and emergency visits (secondary outcomes) should also be reported.
Study Selection: Two reviewers selected the studies to be considered in two stages. If needed, a third reviewer was included to solve discrepancies. Endnote and Rayyan software supported the process.
Data Extraction And Synthesis: The same two reviewers independently extracted the required data from the included studies. If needed, a third reviewer was included to solve discrepancies. Endnote and Rayyan software supported the process.
Results: Ten studies were finally included (six RCTs and four non-RCTs). Only one included samples in which teeth were extracted due to crowding. The total included sample was 718 participants (aged 20-29 years). Only one study did not report crowding equivalency between groups.
Conclusions: Based on low to very low certainty levels, treatment duration is likely similar, chair time and emergency visits are less frequent, and the number of appointments is increased with clear aligners.

Direct printed aligners (DPAs) offer benefits like the ability to vary layer thickness within a single DPA and to 3D print custom-made removable orthodontic appliances. The biocompatibility of appliances made from Tera Harz TA-28 (Graphy Inc., Seoul, South Korea) depends on strict adherence to a standardized production and post-production protocol, including UV curing.

Introduction: To evaluate topographic changes of enamel surface in 3-dimensional after different debonding methods of aligner attachments formed with 2 different composite resins.
Methods: Vertical rectangular attachments were created on 88 premolar teeth and divided into two composite resin groups (Group 1:flowable, Group 2:packable) (N = 44). These were then divided into two subgroups (N = 22) using different debonding methods.

Background: Cycling involves specific body positions that, when maintained for prolonged periods, may affect spinal curvature and increase the risk of pain-related issues. This study aimed to evaluate sagittal spinal curvatures, the prevalence of pain in spinal segments, and their interrelation among amateur road cyclists. Methoods: The research included 30 male participants aged 18-48 years.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of clear aligner therapy in patients with severe periodontitis accompanied by pathological tooth displacement in the anterior region.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed patients diagnosed with severe periodontitis and pathological displacement in the anterior region, who visited both the Periodontics and Orthodontics Departments at Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology between 2019 and 2022. A total of 26 eligible cases were included in this study.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate and compare the antibacterial properties and optical characteristics of clear orthodontic aligners coated with zinc oxide (ZnO) and magnesium oxide (MgO) nanoparticles.
Materials And Methods: In this experimental laboratory study, polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) aligner samples were coated with nanoparticles of ZnO, MgO and a combination of both (ZnO + MgO). The surface coatings were analysed before and after stability testing using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM).
