Background: The delivery channels and approaches related to cardiac rehabilitation (CR), such as eHealth, mHealth, and telehealth, are evolving. Several studies have identified their effects on patients with coronary heart disease, although no studies have focused on all the approaches collectively.

Methods: Randomized controlled trials have investigated lipid profiles, through systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and body mass index (BMI). Stata software was used for analysis, while Egger's linear regression test and Begg's funnel plot were also applied.

Results: Technology-based home CR revealed significantly lower total cholesterol (TC) levels (standardized mean difference (SMD) = -0.19; 95% confidence interval [CI]: [-0.27, -0.11]); triglyceride (TG) levels (SMD = -0.26; 95% CI: [-0.35, 0.17]); low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels (SMD = -0.18; 95% CI: [ -0.25, -0.11]); SBP (SMD = -0.26; 95% CI: [-0.33, -0.19]); DBP (SMD = -0.24; 95% CI: [-0.32, -0.16]); BMI (SMD = -0.12; 95% CI: [-0.18, -0.05]), and improved high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels (SMD = 0.22; 95% CI: [0.14, 0.31]).

Conclusions: Technology-based home CR can be used to lower TC, TG, and LDL levels, alongside the BMI, SBP, and DBP indexes, while also raising HDL levels; thus, its use should be widely promoted.

Objective: This study aims to systematically assess the therapeutic effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) kidney-tonifying methods on osteoporosis in HR+ breast cancer patients after endocrine therapy, and to explore their clinical application value.

Methods: This systematic review and meta-analysis adhered to the PRISMA guidelines and aimed to evaluate the impact of TCM kidney-tonifying methods on osteoporosis in HR+ breast cancer patients after endocrine therapy. Literature searches were conducted through October 2024 in databases including CBM, CNKI, Wanfang Data, PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Central, VIP, and renowned TCM databases such as TCM Online.

Background: There is growing literature examining the effects of balance training on cognitive function in individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS), yet the findings remain inconsistent. This study aimed to investigate methodological characteristics of balance training studies and examine the effects of this modality on cognitive function.

Methods: This study performed literature search using MEDLINE, EMBASE, PsycINFO, SPORTSDiscus, and CINAHL databases from inception to April 2024.

Purpose: The present review investigates the responses of heart rate variability indices following high-intensity interval aerobic exercise, comparing it with moderate-intensity continuous exercise in adults, with the aim of informing clinical practice.

Methods: Searches were conducted in four databases until March 2023. Eligible studies included randomized controlled trials that assessed heart rate variability indices such as the standard deviation of normal-to-normal heartbeat intervals (SDNN), the root mean square of successive differences (RMSSD), the proportion of the number of pairs of successive normal-to-normal (NN or R-R) intervals that differ by more than 50 ms (NN50) divided by the total number of NN intervals (pNN50), power in high frequency range (HF), power in low frequency range (LF), and LF/HF before and after high-intensity interval and moderate-intensity continuous aerobic exercise.

Objective: Tofersen, an antisense oligonucleotide, has recently received FDA and EMA approval for treating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in adults with SOD1 gene mutations. This systematic review and meta-analysis synthesized evidence on tofersen's safety and efficacy in patients with SOD1-related ALS.

Methods: A comprehensive search of three databases was conducted from inception through October 2024.

Amyloid-beta clearance plays a key role In the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. However, the variation in functional proteins involved in amyloid-beta clearance and their correlation with amyloid-beta levels remain unclear. In this study, we conducted meta-analyses and a systematic review using studies from the PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases, including journal articles published from inception to June 30, 2023.
