Background: Emerging evidence underscores the comorbidity mechanisms among autoimmune diseases (AIDs), with innovative technologies such as single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) significantly advancing the explorations in this field. This study aimed to investigate the shared genes among three AIDs-Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) using bioinformatics databases, and to identify potential biomarkers for early diagnosis.
Methods: We retrieved transcriptomic data of MS, SLE, and RA patients from public databases.

Dysregulated mitophagy is essential for mitochondrial quality control within human cancers. However, identifying hub genes regulating mitophagy and developing mitophagy-based treatments to combat drug resistance remains challenging. Herein, BayeDEM (Bayesian-optimized Deep learning for identifying Essential genes of Mitophagy) was proposed for such a task.

Background: Since its resurgence in 2017, Yellow fever (YF) outbreaks have continued to occur in Nigeria despite routine immunization and the implementation of several reactive mass vaccinations. Nigeria, Africa's most populous endemic country, is considered a high-priority country for implementing the End Yellow fever Epidemics strategy.
Methods: This retrospective analysis described the epidemiological profile, trends, and factors associated with Yellow fever viral positivity in Nigeria.

The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC) is increasingly targeted by various noninvasive transcranial magnetic stimulation or transcranial current stimulation protocols in a range of neuropsychiatric and other brain disorders. The rationale for this therapeutic modulation remains elusive. A model is proposed, and up-to-date evidence is discussed, suggesting that the dlPFC is a high-level cortical centre where uncertainty management, movement facilitation, and cardiovascular control processes are intertwined and integrated to deliver optimal behavioural responses in particular environmental or emotional contexts.
