A case concerning a young man presenting with polyuria and polydipsia which were preceded 1 month earlier by a febrile enteritis is reported. The role of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis in diabetes insipidus of this type is discussed on the basis of clinical, biological and evolutional criteria.
