Transbronchial lung cryobiopsy (TBLC) is a relatively new technique for obtaining lung biopsies, known for being the least invasive method while offering a high diagnostic yield, a favourable safety profile, and a significant reduction in morbidity, mortality, and hospital stay length compared to surgical lung biopsy. Radial-EBUS (r-EBUS) represent a cornerstone modality for accessing 'invisible' peripheral pulmonary lesions. However, a major drawback of these techniques is the lack of 'real-time' visualization of the biopsy being obtained. In this case report, we present a young woman who was referred to us with a cough, haemoptysis, and a non-resolving lung consolidation. She underwent TBLC under real-time rEBUS guidance. This clinical case demonstrates that, in specific clinical scenarios, TBLC with real-time rEBUS is an excellent diagnostic tool.

Purpose: To report a case of biopsy-proven sarcoidosis in a patient with panuveitis and a positive interferon-gamma release assay (IGRA) from a non-endemic tuberculosis (TB) country.
Methods: Case report.
Results: A 26-year-old male from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) presented with granulomatous panuveitis characterized by mutton-fat keratic precipitates, anterior chamber and vitreous cells, and retinal vasculitis.

Background: Endobronchial ultrasound guided Transbronchial Needle Aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is the predominant method for investigation of centrally located solitary pulmonary nodules. The method is associated with good to excellent diagnostic sensitivity and specificity with the positive predictive value of the test reaching 100% and reported negative predictive values for FNA of pulmonary nodules ranging from 53% to 97%. The impact of correlating cytologic results with imaging and clinical findings for improvement of negative predictive value has been poorly studied.

Introduction And Objectives: International guidelines for the diagnosis of Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis (HP) have improved the diagnostic standardization of this heterogeneous interstitial lung disease. Our goal was to determine how the final multidisciplinary discussion confidence level for suspected fibrotic HP (fHP) can be impacted by the application of different guidelines validated in this context.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective study including patients submitted to transbronchial lung cryobiopsy (TBLC) with a final multidisciplinary meeting diagnosis of fHP.

The acute rejection (AR) diagnosis depends on transbronchial biopsy, which is semi-invasive and not easily performed Our study used the Nanostring gene expression technology on PBMCs obtained from lung transplant recipients (LTRs) to search for biomarkers. We identified distinct differential gene profiles between patients with stable status (STA) and AR. Subsequently, we independently evaluated monocyte compositions in PBMCs using flow cytometry and assessed the levels of 7 chemokines in serum using Luminex.

Objective: Bronchoscopy plays a critical role in the diagnosis and management of lung transplant recipients. We retrospectively evaluated the safety, complications, and efficacy of transbronchial biopsy (TBB) in detecting and grading early rejection.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively assessed the complications associated with TBB and the adequacy of pathological diagnoses in patients who underwent lung transplantation at Koşuyolu Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital from December 1, 2016, to April 30, 2023.
