People who are higher in conscientiousness, extraversion, and agreeableness and lower in neuroticism tend to live longer. The present research tested the hypothesis that personality trait change in middle and older adulthood would also be associated with mortality risk, above and beyond personality trait level. Personality trait change may causally influence mortality risk through corresponding changes in health behaviors, social processes, and stress experience.

Conceptual review is a method to address issues of task comparability and task validity in cognitive neuroscience. Meta-analyses within cognitive neuroscience (CNS) as well as integration of neuroscientific findings with findings from adjacent disciplines both involve gathering studies that have purportedly investigated the same mental concept. After all, it is no use comparing apples and oranges.

Pollution, damming, canalisation, and water grabbing are some examples of pressures threatening the entwined lifeworlds of human and non-human communities that depend on riverine systems.

There is resurgent interest in making agriculture more "nutrition sensitive" to address longstanding rural health disparities. Yet, the relations between agri-ecological systems and producer wellbeing and health are complex, and approaches to studying them are scattered across multiple disciplinary traditions. This paper forges a methodological framework to study how bodily and social wellbeing may be facilitated/hindered amongst individuals engaged in agriculture by centering the material body within agriculture-nutrition analyses.
