Jumping is an important task in skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, figure skating, volleyball and many other sports. In these examples, jumping tasks are a performance criterion, and therefore detailed insight into them is important for athletes and coaches. Therefore, this paper aims to introduce a simple and easy-to-implement jump detection algorithm for skiing using acceleration data from inertial measurement units attached to ski boots. The algorithm uses the average of the absolute vertical accelerations of the two boots. We provide results for different parameter settings of the algorithm and two types of jumps: Big Air jumps and jumps during skiing. The latter are divided into small (time of flight < 500 ms) and medium (time of flight ≥ 500 ms) jumps. The algorithm detects 100% of Big Air, 94% of medium and 44% of small jumps. In addition, the settings with the highest detection rates also have the highest number of overdetected jumps. To resolve this conflict, a penalty-adjusted score that considers the number of overdetected jumps in the final performance analysis is proposed.

CO sequestration technologies (CSTs) allow for increased CO emissions without exceeding a chosen temperature limit by creating additional carbon budgets. While these CO sequestration technologies offer low-cost routes to net-zero emissions, namely, the CST benefits, they impede progress to the Sustainable Development Goals, namely, the CST disbenefits. Focusing on China, we assess both the CST disbenefits and benefits in the climate-energy-air-health cascade by an integrated modeling framework.

Background: This study reports a rare case of delayed spontaneous resolution of double anterior chambers (AC) resulting from non-rhegmatogenous Descemet membrane detachment (DMD) after deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK). Currently, management guidelines for this condition have not been established.
Case Presentation: A 65-year-old woman with lattice corneal dystrophy underwent uncomplicated DALK, during which an unrecognized type 2 big bubble was present.

The demographic characteristics, drug use, clinical symptoms and other data of the patients treated with Huoxiang Zhengqi Oral Liquid were collected. The latent class analysis(LCA) was performed to reveal the distribution of primary symptoms, and then the doubly robust estimation was employed to analyze the efficacy of different doses of Huoxiang Zhengqi Oral Liquid in different populations.
