Objectives: To establish a rapid screening method for 60 types of natural toxins in whole blood by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/electrostatic field orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q/Orbitrap HRMS).
Methods: The chromatographic and mass spectrometric information of 60 standard samples of natural toxins were analyzed and recorded, and a screening database was built. Objective To analyze the cellular and histopathological characteristics of underdiagnosed thyroid nodules of Chinese thyroid imaging reporting and data system(C-TIRADS) categories 3 and 4a,thus improving the understanding of these lesions. Methods The data of ultrasound and fine needle aspiration cytology were collected from 683 nodules diagnosed based on pathological evidence in 549 patients undergoing thyroid surgery.The cellular and histopathological characteristics of C-TIRADS 3 and 4a nodules were analyzed.

Bent-ray tracing ultrasound computed tomography (USCT) is a promising technique for breast cancer screening which quantitatively provides speed-of-sound (SOS) distribution in human breasts. In this modality, SOS images are reconstructed with an iterative process to match the measured time-of-flights and the ones predicted by Eikonal equation solved with the fast marching method (FMM). The Eikonal equation is meant to be applied in SOS heterogeneous media and its evaluation with FMM is an computational expensive process.
