Introduction And Importance: Referred Otalgia is very unlikely to be the first presentation of thyroid carcinoma, however, it is important to examine thyroid in cases of otalgia lacking any evidence of primary origin.
Case Presentation: We report five cases of thyroid carcinoma, variant types, presented by secondary otalgia in Al-Baha region, KSA followed by proper surgery and patient relief during the last eight years. Patients' ages ranged from 25 to 65 years old.
Clinical Discussion: Thyroid inflammation, including acute and subacute thyroiditis, was reported as a possible cause of the pain referred to the ear and the angle of the mandible, however otalgia caused by thyroid cancer is an extremely rare presentation.
Conclusion: Otolaryngologists should be aware that thyroid cancer may be associated with otalgia in any age group, however extremely rare. With very limited sources for this clinical entity, we recommend further studies on the different varieties of thyroid cancer presentations and the possibilities of the unexplained otalgia.

Background: Central obesity and breast cancer (BC) have been identified as relevant by empirical research. The weight-adjusted-waist index (WWI) is a novel methodology for quantifying central obesity. Inspection of the association between WWI and BC in American adult women was the primary goal of the current investigation.

Objective: Breast ultrasound (BUS) is used to classify benign and malignant breast tumors, and its automatic classification can reduce subjectivity. However, current convolutional neural networks (CNNs) face challenges in capturing global features, while vision transformer (ViT) networks have limitations in effectively extracting local features. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a deep learning method that enables the interaction and updating of intermediate features between CNN and ViT to achieve high-accuracy BUS image classification.

Background/objectives: RAS mutations are common in thyroid cancer, but their impact on clinical outcomes remains controversial. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of RAS mutations in thyroid cancer and their association with various clinical and pathological features.
Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of studies reporting on RAS mutations in thyroid cancer.

Esophageal cancer is a major malignancy with a high incidence and poor prognosis. To elucidate the mechanisms underlying its progression, particularly with respect to cell division and spindle orientation, we investigated the role of m6A modifications and the centrosomal protein CEP170. Using m6A-seq and RNA-seq of esophageal cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues, we identified significant alterations in m6A modifications and gene expression, highlighting the upregulation and m6A enrichment of CEP170 in tumor tissues.
