is the third most common causative fungus of allergic bronchopulmonary mycosis(ABPM). Two-thirds of ABPM caused by can be positive for -specific IgE, which can be difficult to diagnose. Our patient presented to our hospital with wet cough for 3 months and chest pain for 3 days. Blood tests showed IgE 1522 IU/mL, eosinophils 688/mm, -specific IgE 2.24 UA/mL, and chest computed tomography showed high-attenuation mucus. Bronchoscopy showed mucus plugs and speculum examination showed filamentous fungi, but various culture tests did not detect , Asp f 1-specific IgE was negative, and was detected in the culture of bronchial washing. Since he was positive for -specific IgE and IgG, he diagnosed ABPM caused by . These findings demonstrate the importance of identifying the causative fungus in ABPM by detailed examination.

Non-specific Lipid Transfer proteins (nsLTPs) are relevant allergens of several pollens and plant foods. Sensitization to nsLTPs is not typical in our region. Still, it has become an increasingly common cause of IgE-mediated food allergies and food-induced anaphylaxis in Northern Europe in recent decades.

Immune-mediated liver and biliary conditions, such as IgG4-related pancreatobiliary disease (IgG4-PB) and a subset of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC- high(h)IgG4), exhibit increased IgG4 levels in the blood. The relative expression of IgG4+ and IgG1+ B cells in the blood and the expression of complement and Fc receptors on these IgG1+ and IgG4+ B cells in IgG4-PB and PSC have not been previously described. We hypothesised that the patterns of expression of these cells and their receptors would differ, are relevant to disease pathogenesis and may represent therapeutic targets.

This research evaluated the protective role of a combined extract of and (DBZO) against respiratory dysfunction caused by particulate matter (PM) exposure in BALB/c mice. The bioactive compounds identified in the DBZO are catechin, astragalin, 6-gingerol, 8-gingerol, and 6-shogaol. DBZO ameliorated cell viability and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in PM-stimulated A549 and RPMI 2650 cells.

Acupuncture Point Embedding Therapy is a comprehensive treatment method that combines modern biomaterials with acupuncture techniques. Acupoint catgut embedding (ACE) not only avoids the adverse reactions associated with Western medicine but also incorporates the benefits of traditional acupuncture, extending the duration of its therapeutic effects. Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a condition known for its challenging treatment and tendency to persist.

Background And Aims: Elevated total IgE levels are traditionally associated with allergic conditions; however, their potential role as biomarker for mortality risk beyond allergic diseases has not been extensively explored. Recent studies have suggested that IgE is associated with cardiovascular (CV) disease. We aimed to investigate the association between total IgE levels and the risk of all-cause and cause-specific mortality, as well as to explore the potential mediating role of vitamin status in these associations.
