L. is a desert aromatic herb with a characteristic fragrance and taste belonging to the family Asteraceae. This study aimed to evaluate the chemical composition of essential oil isolated from L. using GC-MS analysis, along with an investigation of its antioxidant properties and inhibitory activity against key enzymes involved in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's, diabetes mellitus, and skin pigmentation. GC-MS analysis of the oil revealed the identification of fourteen compounds (97.89%), predominated by piperitone (51.40%), followed by ethyl ()-cinnamate (20.44%), (+)-2-bornanone (5.63%), and ethyl-()-cinnamate (4.78%). The oil demonstrated remarkable antioxidant activities in the following order: ABTS (66.81 ± 1.49 mgTE/g)< CUPRAC (66.24 ± 0.53mgTE/g)

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical produced in large quantities for use primarily in the production of polycarbonate plastics, which has risks for human health. This study aimed to investigate BPA contents in canned fruit and vegetable samples using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). Furthermore, health risks were assessed for Iranian adults and children using Monte Carlo simulations.

Continuous cropping obstacle has been becoming the bottleneck for the stable development of morel cultivation. The allelopathic effect of soil allelochemicals may play an instrumental role in the morel soil sickness. In this study, the allelochemicals were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) combined with in vitro bioassay.

Inhibiting angiogenesis with plant-derived bioactive compounds can inhibit tumour progression. Antiangiogenic potential of was analysed by preparing and analysing ethanolic extracts of by GC-MS and HPLC to identify bioactive components. In-vivo blood vessel formation assays in mice and chorioallantoic membrane assays (CAM) in eggs were employed to assess the antiangiogenic effects.
