Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) is considered good practice in all health research including literature reviews. Reporting of involvement practice in realist reviews has been inconsistent leaving gaps in understanding of best practice. Realist reviews are theory driven and explain how interventions work, for whom and in which circumstances.

High-entropy alloys are of interest to many researchers due to the possibility of shaping their functional properties by, among other things, the use of alloying additives. One approach to improving the wear resistance of the AlCoCrFeNi alloy is modification through the addition of titanium. However, in this study, an alternative solution was explored by adding vanadium, which has a completely different effect on the material's structure compared to titanium.

This research aims to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) on intelligent sensors and the Internet of Things (IoT) in assistive devices for the deaf and hard of hearing. This study analyzes the current state and promise of intelligent sensors in improving the daily lives of those with hearing impairments, addressing the critical need for improved communication and environmental interaction. We investigate the functionality, integration, and use of sensor technologies in assistive devices, assessing their impact on autonomy and quality of life.
