Introduction: The purpose of this article is to report on the lessons learned from parents and caregivers of school-age children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Missouri and Maryland regarding the facilitators and barriers to SARS-COV-2 testing.
Methods: Parents participated in interview sessions that employed fuzzy cognitive mapping (FCM), a reliable knowledge-based method that facilitates democratic discourse to understand how stakeholders make decisions. A total of 94 parents from Missouri (58) and Maryland (36) participated in the FCM sessions.

Children carrying in their nasopharynx are at a higher risk of contracting systemic infection. Due to lack of sufficient information regarding such carriage, this study was conducted to explore the prevalence, antibiotic susceptibility, and genomic profiles of isolated from nasopharyngeal samples of 163 randomly selected asymptomatic Bangladeshi children aged from 5-<15 years. Antibiotic susceptibility pattern and genomic analysis of the samples were conducted using standard microbiological methods and genomic tools.

Background: Gram-positive bacteria residing in the nasopharynx can lead to severe illnesses in children, such as otitis media, pneumonia, and meningitis. Despite the potential threat, there is a lack of comprehensive data regarding the carriage rates of these bacteria among children in outpatient departments in the study area.
Objective: This study aimed to assess the nasopharyngeal carriage, antimicrobial resistance patterns, and associated factors of Gram-positive bacteria among children attending the outpatient department at the University of Gondar Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, Northwest Ethiopia.
