Leadership teams composed of individuals from diverse backgrounds bring a more comprehensive range of experiences, perspectives, and approaches to the table. While promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for ethical reasons is paramount, the benefits of hiring and recruiting Black, Indigenous, and other people of color individuals for leadership roles extend far beyond moral imperatives. Studies and market trends reveal a compelling connection between diversifying teams, in general, and leadership teams specifically. Recruiting diverse talent and palpable business increases, particularly in terms of profitability through increased customer reach, are 2 of the more notable advantages.

With little literature exploring the relationship between leadership styles within teams/departments and types of organizational culture in nursing education, we conducted an exploratory study to investigate leadership styles and culture types. An online survey using the Organizational Description Questionnaire was posted on two national nursing websites. Nearly 35 percent of participants in this pilot study (n = 43) identified their organization to be coasting, followed by high contrast (23%) and transformational (21%).

Objective: This study tests the effectiveness of leader and provider-level implementation strategies to implement evidence-based interventions (EBIs) in two of the service systems caring for autistic children. The TEAMS Leadership Institute (TLI) targets implementation leadership and climate, and TEAMS Individualized Provider Strategy (TIPS) targets provider motivation and engagement.
Method: A cluster randomized hybrid type 3 implementation-effectiveness trial tested the effects of the implementations strategies when paired with AIM HI (An Individualized Mental Health Intervention for Autism) in mental health programs (Study 1) and CPRT (Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching) in classrooms (Study 2).

Context: This paper describes experiences and views of leadership teams from 4 small local health departments (LHDs) seeking Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) reaccreditation or Pathways Recognition using PHAB Standards & Measures Version 2022. The Pathways program launched in 2022 provides additional supports for improvement of public health practice.
Objective: Given the need to accelerate accreditation among small health departments, the purpose of this study is to share small health departments' strategies for overcoming accreditation challenges and actionable advice for use by other health departments.
