Key Clinical Message: Pituitary apoplexy is a medical and surgical emergency requiring prompt diagnosis and often urgent treatment to manage symptoms and prevent further complications.
Abstract: This report describes the successful management of a 37-year-old pregnant woman with a history of pituitary macroadenoma and apoplexy during a twin pregnancy. Presenting with bitemporal vision loss, a common pituitary adenoma symptom, she showed no other alarming signs despite a twin pregnancy. Successful endoscopic resection improved her vision, and postoperative recovery was uneventful. The discussion underscores significance of the diagnostic utility of contrast MRI. The patient's favorable outcome supports endoscopic resection feasibility in pregnant individuals with pituitary apoplexy.

This study aimed to create a risk prediction model with artificial intelligence (AI) to identify patients at higher risk of postpartum hemorrhage using perinatal characteristics that may be associated with later postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) in twin pregnancies that underwent cesarean section. The study was planned as a retrospective cohort study at University Hospital. All twin cesarean deliveries were categorized into two groups: those with and without PPH.

Problem: Tongue tie is an added complication when breastfeeding, but little is known about the role tongue tie might play when breastfeeding twins.
Background: Twins are much less likely to be breastfed than singleton babies due to added complications regarding pregnancy, birth and ongoing care. Tongue tie can cause breastfeeding barriers including poor latch, inefficient milk transfer and nipple pain.

The objectives of this study were: (i) to evaluate the associations between postpartum health disorders, relative increase in walking activity (RIWA) and expression of behavioral estrus intensity captured by pedometers; (ii) to assess associations between RIWA and pregnancy in cows submitted to timed artificial insemination (TAI). Lactating dairy cows (n = 881) were enrolled in the study. Cows were submitted to a 5d TAI protocol with insertion of a progesterone device.

This study investigates the impact of twin intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnancy (ICP) in different chorionicity scenarios on pregnancy outcome and risk factors. This retrospective study was designed to investigate the association between ICP and pregnancy outcomes and associated risk factors. Logistic regression analysis was used to verify the correlation between ICP and pregnancy outcome and the associated risk factors with the risk of ICP.
