Background: Stroke survivors are at a substantial risk of repeat stroke. Despite this, many stroke survivors continue their unhealthy prestroke lifestyles. Lack of knowledge related to stroke and stroke risk has been proposed as one contributor to the continuance of unhealthy lifestyles.
