A research topic is a subject or problem that an investigator is interested in research. The starting point of any research project that is successful is a well-defined subject of research. The selection of topics is an ongoing approach in which investigators analyse, describe, classify, and refine their ideas. For the ease of selection of topics particularly in the field of Ayurveda, Authors have created an acronym 'TOPIC' as a guiding tool for the selection of the area of research. The components of the TOPIC criterion are Textual & Time-bound; Objectivity & Outcome measures; Planning & Pragmatic; Innovative & Interesting and Contemporarily relevant & Consent, highlight useful points for the easy selection of the topic for the research by the novice.

In order to explore a strategy for synthesizing halogen-bonded metal-organic cocrystals by utilizing metal complexes whose pendant chloride group and the morpholinyl oxygen atom enables halogen bonding, we have synthesized four pentacoordinated Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes of the MCl2L general formula (L=imines prepared by the condensation reaction of 4-aminoethylmorpholine with 2-pyridinecarboxyaldehide or 2-acetylpyridine). The prepared metal complexes were further cocrystallized with selected iodoperfluorinated benzenes. Out of 20 combinations, 14 experiments yielded crystals suitable for single-crystal X-ray diffraction.

Aim: Accumulated data suggest that routine use of defunctioning stoma in low anterior resection for rectal cancer may cause kidney injury, bowel dysfunction and a higher risk of permanent stomas. We aim to study whether avoidance of a diverting stoma in selected patients is safe and reduces adverse consequences.

Methods: SELSA is a multicentre international prospective observational study nesting an open-label randomized clinical trial.

Construction and optimization of stable atomically dispersed metal sites on SiO surfaces are important yet challenging topics. In this work, we developed the amino group-assisted atomic layer deposition strategy to deposit the atomically dispersed Pt on SiO support for the first time, in which the particle size and ratio of Pt entities from single atom (Pt) to atomic cluster (Pt ) and nanoparticle (Pt ) on the SiO surface were well modulated. We demonstrated the importance of dual-site synergy for optimizing the activity of single-atom catalysts.

The use of azoles in the European Union and European Economic Area (EU/EEA) other than as human medicines has raised concerns about emergence and spread of azole-resistant species. EU agencies, with the support of JRC, reviewed the evidence and provided conclusions and recommendations on this topic. Although incomplete, data from 2010 to 2021 showed that around 120,000 tonnes of azoles were sold in EU/EEA for uses other than as human medicines.
