Cryotherapy in vital pulp treatment is a procedure that involves the use of extreme cold temperatures to manage inflammation and promote healing in the dental pulp tissue. It has shown potential in preserving pulp vitality and reducing post-operative discomfort in procedures such as partial and full pulpotomy. Vital pulp therapy (VPT) aims to preserve the vitality and function of the dental pulp. With the proper diagnosis, technique, and materials, it can effectively treat moderately inflamed pulp and minimize the need for more invasive procedures. This article presents a case of vital pulp cryotherapy in a patient having moderately inflamed pulp.

Median mandibular cyst is defined as an odontogenic cyst in a rare midline location. In spite of this definition, there have been two reports of a peculiar lesion, so-called "ciliated" median mandibular cyst associated with vital teeth, the origin of which cannot be explained in terms of odontogenic epithelium multipotentiality. We describe a thorough profile of an additional example.

Introduction: Vital pulp therapy (VPT) aims to preserve dental pulp after injury and has gained significant popularity due to advancements in materials and understanding of pulp biology. While bibliometric analyses are common in various fields, none have been conducted specifically for the 100 most-cited articles on VPT.

Materials And Methods: This bibliometric study analyzed the 100 most-cited VPT papers using data from Web of Science (WoS-CC), Scopus, and Google Scholar.

(β-ketoacyl-acyl carrier protein (ACP) synthases II), (fatty acid thioesterases), (stearoyl-ACP desaturase), and (fatty acid desaturases) are the vital gene families involved in fatty acid (FA) synthesis in L. However, information on the number and location of these genes and which ones are key to the formation of FAs in fruit seeds and pulp was not complete. Our study aimed to solve this issue using the available genomic sequences and transcriptome data that we obtained.
