Phyllodes tumor is a rare fibroepithelial neoplasm of the breast. This tumor tends to spread by hematogenous route, with common metastatic sites in the lungs, bones, and liver. Metastases to the pleura, stomach, pancreas, kidneys, and adrenal gland are rare. We present a case of a 52-year-old lady with malignant phyllodes tumor of breast undergone local tumor resection, followed by solitary lung metastasis with lobectomy, and subsequently diagnosed of multiple new metastatic sites in pleura, stomach, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal gland, and bone detected on 2-deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-D-glucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography within 2 years.

Introduction: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is one of the most common types of urogenital cancer. The introduction of immune-based combinations, including dual immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) or ICI plus tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), has radically changed the treatment landscape for metastatic RCC, showing varying efficacy across different prognostic groups based on the International Metastatic RCC Database Consortium (IMDC) criteria.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective multicenter study, part of the ARON-1 project, aimed to evaluate the outcomes of favorable-risk metastatic RCC patients treated with immune-based combinations or sunitinib.

In recent years, it has been increasingly recognized that tumor growth relies not only on support from the surrounding microenvironment but also on the tumors capacity to adapt to - and actively manipulate - its niche. While targeting angiogenesis and modulating the local immune environment have been explored as therapeutic approaches, these strategies have yet to yield effective treatments for brain tumors and remain under refinement. More recently, the nervous system itself has been explored as a critical environmental support for cancer, with extensive neuro-tumoral interactions observed both intracranially and in extracranial sites containing neural components.

Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) show optimal treatment effects on recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma(R/M NPC). Nonetheless, whether metastatic sites impact ICIs efficacy remains unclear.
Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of R/M NPC patients treated with KL-A167, a programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1) inhibitor, based on a multicenter, single-arm, phase II study from China between 2019 and 2021 years, which represents the first and most comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of a PD-L1 inhibitor in patients who have been previously treated.

Background: While dysregulated local innate immunity and microglial dysfunction are thought to play a pathogenic role in Alzheimer's disease (AD), the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Importantly, activation of immune and metabolic pathways in myeloid cells can lead to a functional reprogramming process, termed innate immune memory (IIM), in which the response to an initial stimulus shapes long-lasting epigenetic modifications that alter the response to future inflammatory stimuli. This epigenetic imprinting process has been minimally studied in microglia.

Background: Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is the most severe and disabling stroke, accounting for up to 50% of the cases in low-to-middle-income countries. High rates of cognitive decline and dementia follow acute ICH, due to the common underlying vasculopathy of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). The international clinical trial, TRIDENT (Triple therapy prevention of Recurrent Intracerebral Disease EveNts Trial), aims to determine the effectiveness of the fixed low-dose Triple Pill combination of blood pressure-lowering agents (telmisartan 20 mg, indapamide 1.
