Herein, a microporous organic-inorganic hybrid, vanadium phosphonate (VPn) material has been developed. With the combined advantages of the periodic organic-inorganic skeleton, a regular microporous channel with a crystalline pore wall, and good surface area, VPn displays electrocatalytic NRR activity with a selective NH yield (11.84 μg h mg), faradaic efficiency of 26.29% at -0.6 V and high stability up to 15 h. The isotopic labeling experiment also verifies the electrosynthesis of NH both qualitatively and quantitatively. The theoretical simulation reveals that the associative distal route serves as the most favourable pathway during the NRR, with the first protonation step of *N leading to *NNH as the potential determining step.

Ethanol Processable Inorganic-Organic Hybrid Hole Transporting Layers Enabled 20.12 % Efficiency Organic Solar Cells.

In this study, a high-performance inorganic-organic hybrid hole transporting layer (HTL) was developed using ethanol-soluble alkoxide precursors and a self-assembled monolayer (SAM). Three metal oxides-vanadium oxide (VO), niobium oxide (NbO), and tantalum oxide (TaO)-were synthesized through successive low-temperature (100 °C) thermal annealing (TA) and UV-ozone (UVO) treatments of their respective precursors: vanadium oxytriethoxide (EtO-V), niobium ethoxide (EtO-Nb), and tantalum ethoxide (EtO-Ta). Among these, the NbO film exhibited excellent transmittance, a high work function, and good conductivity, along with a more compact and uniform structure featuring fewer interfacial defects, which facilitated efficient charge extraction and transport.

A potential Cu/V-organophosphonate platform for tailored void spaces via terpyridine mold casting.

Department of Food Chemistry and Toxicology, Berlin Institute of Technology, Gustav-Meyer-Allee 25, 13355, Germany.

The reaction of appropriate copper and vanadium salts with tetratopic methane tetra-p-phenylphosphonic acid (MTPPA) in the presence of 2,2':6':2''-terpyridine (terpy) yielded the three-dimensional bimetallic copper vanadium phosphonate framework [{Cu(terpy)}Cu(VO)(MTPPA-H)]·4HO (1). Terpy has no net contribution to the three-dimensional structure providing a potential platform for void space formation via mold-casting. The structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).

Highly ordered mesostructured vanadium phosphonates (VP) have been synthesized in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a structure-directing agent. Nitrilotris(methylene)triphosphonic acid (NMPA) and (ammonium/sodium) metavanadate (NH VO /NaVO ) have been used for the construction of pore walls. The CTAB templates are removed from the materials by an extraction process without destroying the parent mesostructure.

Leishmaniasis is a disease that is a significant problem for people, especially in tropical regions of the world. Current drug therapies to treat the disease are expensive, not very effective, and/or of significant side effects. A series of alkyl bisphosphonate compounds and one amino bisphosphonate compound, as well as alendronate and zoledronate, were tested as potential agents against Leishmania tarentolae.
