Background And Objective: Because of the lack of effective targeted treatment options, docetaxel has long been the standard second-line therapy for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer, including the Kirsten rat sarcoma virus (KRAS) G12C mutation. The CodeBreak 200 trial demonstrated that sotorasib, a new drug targeting the G12C-mutated KRAS protein, modestly improved progression-free survival compared with docetaxel in patients whose cancer had progressed after receiving platinum chemotherapy and programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) / programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) inhibitors as first-line treatment. Consequently, sotorasib received temporary approval in Switzerland.

Objectives: This study evaluated the cost-effectiveness of using hearing aids among individuals aged 50 and older with varying levels of hearing loss in South Korea.
Methods: A state-transition Markov model was employed to assess the cost-effectiveness of hearing aid utilization from a societal perspective. We simulated a cohort of patients aged 50, tracking their progression through normal, mild, moderate, and severe stages of hearing loss until death or age 80.

This study evaluates the cost-effectiveness of adding durvalumab to chemotherapy, with subsequent maintenance either with olaparib (DOCT) or without olaparib (DCT), versus chemotherapy alone (CT) as a first-line treatment for advanced endometrial cancer (EC) in the United States, stratified by mismatch repair deficiency (dMMR) and proficiency (pMMR). A Markov model based on DUO-E Phase III trial data simulated disease progression and outcomes. Total costs, quality-adjusted life years (QALYs), and incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICER) were evaluated.

Background And Aims: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is a common condition leading to chronic liver disease which generates substantial health care costs. Our aim was to model the impact on disease and economic burden of a hypothetical pharmacologic therapy which halts MASLD fibrosis progression.

The long-term effects of repeated COVID-19 vaccinations on adaptive immunity remain incompletely understood. Here, we conducted a comprehensive three-year longitudinal study examining T cell and antibody responses in 78 vaccinated individuals without reported symptomatic infections. We observed distinct dynamics in Spike-specific humoral and cellular immune responses across multiple vaccine doses.
