The research on high-precision and all-scenario localization using the millimeter-wave (mmWave) band is of great urgency. Due to the characteristics of mmWave, blockages make the localization task more complex. This paper proposes a cooperative localization system among user equipment (UEs) assisted by reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs), which considers device-to-device (D2D) communication. RISs are used as anchor points, and position estimation is achieved through signal exchanges between UEs. Firstly, we establish a localization model based on this system and derive the UEs' positioning error bound (PEB) as a performance metric. Then, a UE-RIS joint beamforming design is proposed to optimize channel state information (CSI) with the objective of achieving the minimum PEB. Finally, simulation analysis demonstrates the advantages of the proposed scheme over RIS-assisted base station positioning, achieving centimeter-level accuracy with a 10 dBm lower transmission power.

The design of biomaterials that can reconfigure on-demand in response to external stimuli is an emerging area in materials research. However, achieving reversible assembly of protein-based biomaterials by light input remains a major challenge. Here, we present the engineering of a new protein material that is capable of switching between liquid and solid state reversibly, controlled by lights of different wavelengths.

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) panels have garnered significant attention with the emergence of next-generation network technologies. This paper proposes a novel data-driven approach that leverages Light Detecting and Ranging (LiDAR) sensors to enhance user localization and beamforming in RIS-assisted networks. Integrating LiDAR sensors into the network will be instrumental, offering high-speed and precise 3D mapping capabilities, even in low light or adverse weather conditions.

In order to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions, we focused on the structural and dynamic activity consequences of mutations within this gene. In this study, whole exome sequencing identified the c.

An RCA product is a promising scaffold for the construction of DNA nanostructures, but so far, there is no RCA scaffold-based dynamic reconfigurable nanorobot for biological applications. In this contribution, we develop an intracellular stimuli-responsive reconfigurable coiled DNA nanosnake (N-Snake) by using incomplete aptamer-functionalized (A) DNA tetrahedrons (T) to fold a long tandemly repetitive DNA strand synthesized by rolling circle amplification reaction (R) with the help of palindromic fragment (P). A DNA-assembled product, ARTP, including spiked aptamers, can retain the structural integrity even if exposed to fetal bovine serum (FBS) for 24 h and displays substantially enhanced target molecule-dependent cellular internalization efficiency.

AI-Based Prediction of Protein Corona Composition on DNA Nanostructures.

DNA nanotechnology has emerged as a powerful approach to engineering biophysical tools, therapeutics, and diagnostics because it enables the construction of designer nanoscale structures with high programmability. Based on DNA base pairing rules, nanostructure size, shape, surface functionality, and structural reconfiguration can be programmed with a degree of spatial, temporal, and energetic precision that is difficult to achieve with other methods. However, the properties and structure of DNA constructs are greatly altered due to spontaneous protein adsorption from biofluids.
