Background: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder, characterized by impairments in social interaction and communication with restricted and repetitive behavior. Postural and motor disturbances occur more often in ASD, in comparison to typically developing subjects, affecting the quality of life. Linear and non-linear indexes derived from the trajectory of the center of pressure (COP) while subjects stand on force platforms are commonly used to assess postural stability.

The spiral of silence is a classic theory originating from the age of mass media, which posits that individuals may suppress dissenting opinions to avoid social exclusion. In the digital era, despite the persistence of this phenomenon, the rise of social media has catalyzed the emergence of an antispiral of silence-a counterphenomenon fueled by growing self-awareness and online anonymity. In this paper, we focus on an interesting phenomenon: how these two spirals compete with each other to promote pluralism in social networks.

This paper investigates the motion state estimation problem of the unmanned surface vehicle (USV) steering system in wireless sensor networks based on the binary coding scheme (BCS). In response to the presence of bandwidth constraints and mixed cyber-attacks in USV communication networks, this paper proposes an improved set-membership state estimation algorithm based on BCS. This algorithm partially addresses the problem of degraded performance in USV steering motion state estimation caused by mixed cyber-attacks and bandwidth constraints.

Objective: Social media influencers have enormous sway with youth; however, little is known about how they communicate about mental health and how young people respond to this content.
Methods: This study used semi-structured, remote interviews with 31 participants aged 16 to 24 years to explore how young people feel about the way social media influencers discuss mental health online. Thematic analysis and member-checking processes were used to identify five themes, each reflecting a tension in how participants viewed a specific aspect of influencer content.
