Background: To clearly reveal the correlations between tumor characteristics, age at diagnosis, and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation rates in patients with pulmonary ground-glass opacities (GGOs).
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 1473 patients with GGOs between January 2015 and May 2020 from two cancer centers. The tumor characteristics and EGFR mutation rates were compared between different age groups.

Background: Limited research exists on screening thresholds for low-dose CT in detecting malignant pure ground-glass lung nodules (pGGNs) in the Chinese population.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis of the Guangzhou Lung-Care programme was conducted, retrieving average transverse diameter, location, histopathology, frequency and follow-up intervals. Diagnostic performances for 'lung cancers' were evaluated using areas under the curve (AUCs), decision curve analysis (DCA), sensitivities and specificities, with thresholds ranging from 5 mm to 10 mm.

: Computed tomography (CT)-guided transbronchial metallic coil marking is useful for identifying the locations of small peripheral pulmonary lesions. Even deeply located lesions may be accurately identified and resected with adequate margins. This method is also applicable to multiple lesions.

To evaluate the diagnostic performance of CT radiomic features extracted from tumor and peritumoral regions in identifying pathological subtypes of T1-stage lung adenocarcinoma presenting as pure ground-glass nodules (pGGNs). A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of T1-stage lung adenocarcinoma patients who underwent surgical resection and whose preoperative CT scans revealed pGGNs from June 2020 to June 2023 in our hospital. 3D Slicer was used to extract radiomic features of the intratumoral (VOI entire) and peritumoral regions (VOI +2 mm), and Rad-scores were calculated from the coefficients of features obtained after dimensionality reduction with LASSO regression.

Background: To treat multiple bilateral ground-glass opacities (GGOs), surgical treatments and electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB)-guided ablation therapy are recommended therapeutic measures. However, the differences between bilateral and unilateral ablation, with or without surgery, remain unknown. This study aims to evaluate the differences in efficacy among various strategies.
