Background: Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is characterized by the autoimmune destruction of pancreatic beta cells, leading to lifelong insulin dependence. Despite advancements in insulin therapies and glucose monitoring, maintaining optimal blood glucose control remains challenging with common issues like weight gain and glucose variability. Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs), approved for type 2 diabetes and obesity, are being explored off-label for T1D.

Aim: The use of blended tube feeding (BTF) in children is a controversial area with persistent concerns regarding the nutritional adequacy and risk of associated infections and equipment complications. Parents in Australia are electing to use BTF in their children despite local hospital guidelines, calling for further research to support its use.
Methods: A retrospective case-series study was conducted at a tertiary paediatric hospital, to characterise the paediatric population electively using BTF and evaluate their clinical outcomes.

Background: Polyarteritis nodosa is a relatively uncommon type of systemic necrotizing vasculitis that primarily affects medium-sized arteries. While gastrointestinal involvement is known in polyarteritis nodosa, heavy gastrointestinal bleeding due to gastric ulceration is relatively uncommon. We present the case of an 81-year-old male of Chinese ethnicity who experienced severe gastrointestinal bleeding as a result of polyarteritis nodosa and an innovative treatment approach for a better patient outcomes.

Background: SMARCA4-deficient undifferentiated tumor (SMARCA4-UT) is a rare and highly malignant primary tumor characterized by the loss of SMARCA4 expression. Despite advancements in oncology, diagnosing and treating SMARCA4-UT remain significant clinical challenges.
Case Demonstration: A 67-year-old male with a history of smoking presented to the hospital with complaints of abdominal distention and pain lasting for more than four days.

We presented a case of chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis (CMC) due to STAT1 GOF mutation with recurrent enteritis and intestinal obstruction. A 33-year-old woman complained of recurrent oral erosion and finger (toe) nails damage for over 30 years. Candida albicans were cultured from the oral mucosa and nails.
