When using conventional methods, centric occlusion (CO) can be determined on conventional gypsum casts that are mounted in an analog articulator at centric relation (CR). In the digital environment, intraoral scanners (IOSs) can be used to record maxillary and mandibular scans articulated in CR. However, a digital protocol to locate the CO on articulated intraoral digital scans at CR by using computer-aided design (CAD) programs is needed. The present manuscript describes a straightforward technique to record CR by combining an IOS and a Kois deprogrammer. Afterwards, the acquired digital data are imported into a CAD program to locate CO. The technique includes a complete digital protocol to locate CO by using 3 different CAD programs: open-access non-dental, open-access dental, and dental CAD program.

Background: The selection guideline for the implant-supported bar connectors (ISBC) of hybrid denture is lacking. This study investigated the maximum von Mises stress (vMS), stress distribution, and displacement of various geometric ISBC in mandibular hybrid dentures, as well as the maximum principal stress (σmax) in the acrylic resin part, through finite element analysis.
Methods: Four different geometric cross-sectional patterns for mandibular ISBC-L, Y, I, and Square-of equal volume, based on the "All-on-4" concept, were created.

Complete arch oral implant treatment using photogrammetry was studied in 77 patients with 111 arches focusing on digitization of clinical records and optimization of the provisional. The aim of the study was to test the hypothesis that patient satisfaction with the provisional prosthesis during the first 4 months of care determined workflow efficiency and success. Digitization of 8 clinical records was done including centric relation, vertical dimension, esthetics, occlusion, inter-arch space, abutment selection, abutment capture, and soft tissue scan.

Background: Dental implants are becoming a popular treatment of choice. Immediate implant placement with immediate loaded full-arch fixed dental prostheses (IPILFFDP) presents an attractive solution for edentulous and partially edentulous patients because of its high success rate, reduction in overall treatment time, and improved esthetics. However, whether it can minimize the risk of temporomandibular disorder (TMD) has not been previously studied.

Background: While we attempt to restore occlusion in completely edentulous patients there is a consensus among clinicians to articulate the cast using average value and avoid performing facebow transfer. Various studies question the application of facebow transfer in the fabrication of removable complete denture fabrication.
Aim: This study was therefore aimed to study the effect on condylar guidance with casts mounted by the facebow method, Bonwill's method, and radiographic method.
