Background: Severe rigid neurologic equinovarus foot (NEVF) deformity, though rare, significantly limits transfers and orthotic use in pediatric patients with neurological disorders. Standard treatments like arthrodesis or talectomy are highly invasive, especially in young patients. This study assesses the mid-term outcomes of a talar neck trapezoidal osteotomy (TNTO) to correct severe NEVF in non-ambulatory patients.

This study utilizes single-cell RNA sequencing data to reveal the transcriptomic characteristics of breast cancer and normal epithelial cells. Nine significant cell populations were identified through stringent quality control and batch effect correction. Further classification of breast cancer epithelial cells based on the PAM50 method and clinical subtypes highlighted significant heterogeneity between triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and non-triple-negative breast cancer (NTNBC).

January 2025

Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University, 563000 China; The Collaborative Innovation Center of Tissue, Damage Repair and Regeneration Medicine of Zunyi Medical University, 563000 China. Electronic address:

Background: Complex craniofacial trauma is defined as those traumatic injuries that are not responding to initial treatment and may involve chronic infection, tissue exposure, and soft tissue contusions. Typical reconstruction using a Y-shaped microvascular venous anastomotic free flap is labor intensive. Although free flap grafts have been used in many applications, their use for combined microvascular anastomotic therapy remains an unexplored but attractive possibility.
