Herein, by ball milling CsPb(Br/I) quantum dot glass powder with SrMgSiO:Eu, Dy phosphor, multicolor tunable long persistent luminescence (LPL) in inorganic composites with more than 700 min attenuation time can be obtained via a radiation photon reabsorption process. Attractively, the wide color gamut of LPL spectra overlaps the National Television System Committee space 74%. Notably, the luminescence intensity remains stable when the inorganic composites are composed with UV light for 100 h. Finally, practical anticounterfeiting application is successfully realized based on the prepared LPL inorganic composites. This work provides a new, to the best of our knowledge, perspective to achieve polychromatic adjustment of LPL.

Kaolinite is a single 2D layer of kaolin or metakaolin (MK), common clays that can be characterized as layered 3D materials. We show that because of its chemical composition, kaolinite can be converted into an amorphous 3D material by chemical means. This dimensional transformation is possible due to the large surface to volume ratio and chemical reactivity of kaolinite.

Rapid control of hemorrhage is vital in first-aid and surgery. As representative of emergency hemostatic materials, inorganic porous materials achieve rapid hemostasis through concentrating protein coagulation factors by water adsorption to accelerate the coagulation reaction process, however their efficacy is often limited by the insufficient contact of material with blood and the lack of blood clot strength. Herein, we report an ultrafast dispersing and in situ gelation sponge (SG/DB) based on anchoring interface effect for hemorrhage control using freeze drying method after mixing fish scale gel (SG) and tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) pre-crystallized diatom biosilica (DB).

In both nature and industry, aerosol droplets contain complex mixtures of solutes, which in many cases include multiple inorganic components. Understanding the drying kinetics of these droplets and the impact on resultant particle morphology is essential for a variety of applications including improving inhalable drugs, mitigating disease transmission, and developing more accurate climate models. However, the previous literature has only focused on the relationship between drying kinetics and particle morphology for aerosol droplets containing a single nonvolatile component.

Glutathione (GSH) plays a crucial role in various physiological processes and its imbalances are closely related to various pathological conditions. Probes for detection and imaging of GSH are not only useful for understanding GSH chemical biology but are also important for exploring potential theranostic agents. Herein, we report a fast intramolecular thiol-activated arylselenoamides ()-based fluorescent probe using 2,4-dinitrophenyl alkylthioether as a sulfydryl-selective receptor for the first time.

Potassium-ion batteries (KIBs) have attracted significant attention in recent years as a result of the urgent necessity to develop sustainable, low-cost batteries based on non-critical raw materials that are competitive with market-available lithium-ion batteries. KIBs are excellent candidates, as they offer the possibility of providing high power and energy densities due to their faster K diffusion and very close reduction potential compared with Li/Li. However, research on KIBs is still in its infancy, and hence, more investigation is required both at the materials level and at the device level.
