We achieve dynamically tunable dual quasi-bound states in the continuum (quasi-BICs) by implementing them in a silicon-graphene multilayer composite structure and utilize the quasi-BIC modes to achieve ultra-large group delays (velocity of light slows down 10 times), showing 2-3 orders of magnitude higher than the group delays of previous electromagnetically induced transparency modes. The double-layer graphene holds great tuning capability and leads to the dramatically reduced group delay from 1929.82 to 1.58 ps with only 100 meV. In addition, the log-linear variation rule of group delay with Fermi level (Ef) in the range of 0-10 meV is analyzed in detail, and the double-logarithmic function relationship between the group delay and quality factor (Q-factor) is theoretically verified. Finally, the quantitative modulation of the optical storage is further realized in this basis. Our research provides ideas for the reform and upgrading of slow optical devices.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a frequent disease from which approximately 8% of individuals aged 40 years and above suffer. The prevalence increases up to fivefold as age advances. Following an introduction including the etiology, measurement, characteristic features and classification of COPD, this article presents the consensus recommendations of the German Working Group on Pneumology in Older Patients.

Parental emotion socialization is crucial to children's development, yet emotion-focused parenting programs are scarce in non-Western contexts. In this study, we developed a four-week emotion-focused parenting program based on the principles of emotion coaching for Chinese families with preschool-aged children. This program integrated parent group sessions with home-based parent-child shared reading.

Background And Aims: Guidelines recommend endoscopic detorsion in cases of sigmoid volvulus without ischemia or perforation, but the timing in which this should be performed is unclear.
Methods: Admissions for sigmoid volvulus in which endoscopic detorsion was performed between 1/2010-4/2024 were retrospectively reviewed. The timing was calculated as the time between when the confirmatory radiologic exam and endoscopic detorsion were performed.
High tibial osteotomy (HTO) is a widely used procedure for delaying knee arthroplasty, correcting alignment, and relieving symptoms in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Recently, proximal fibular osteotomy (PFO) has emerged as a less invasive and more cost-effective alternative. This study compares the outcomes of HTO and PFO to evaluate whether PFO can deliver results comparable to HTO in similar patient populations.

The development of pure-green organic emitters with ideal emission peak and ultra-narrow full-widths at half-maximum (FWHMs) remains a formidable challenge. Herein, we report two new green emitters, CNBN and MCNBN, which achieve extremely narrow FWHMs by synergistic rigid π-extension and cyano-substitution for sky-blue multi-resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) core. The introduction of cyano groups induces red-shifts of emission to green region and dramatically minimize the FWHMs.
