The development of medical ultrasound techniques and progress in prenatal diagnosis allows foetus malformations to be discovered during pregnancy. These outcomes may force parents to be faced with the decision of termination of pregnancy for foetal abnormality (TOP). Introduction: Simulation is a very promising educational tool. It provides medical students with clinical experience without jeopardizing patients' health. This tool can be implemented in psychiatry training in order to develop interview and specific assessment skills which is why the Université de Lorraine relies increasingly on simulation in teaching psychiatry to its residents.

Background: In low-resource settings, the lack of mental health professionals and cross-culturally validated screening instruments complicates mental health care delivery. This is especially the case for very young children. Here, we aimed to develop and cross-culturally validate a simple and rapid tool, the PSYCa 6-36, that can be administered by non-professionals to screen for psychological difficulties among children aged six to 36 months.
