The radiotherapeutic Pt is among the most effective Auger electron emitters of the currently studied radionuclides that have a potential theranostic application in nuclear medicine. Production of Pt through double neuron capture of enriched Ir followed by β-decay to the radioisotope of interest carried out at the research reactor IBR-2 is described. Because of the high radiation background, radiochemical purification procedure of Pt from bulk of iridium was needed to be developed and is detailed here as well. For the first time, cross section and resonance integral for the reaction Ir(n,γ)Ir were determined. Resonance neutrons contribution was established to exceed that of thermal neutrons, and resonance integral for the reaction Ir(n,γ)Ir is calculated to be 2900 b. Specific activity of Pt was estimated to reach a value of 38.7 GBq/(g Pt) at IBR-2 by the end of bombardment (EOB).

This paper presents a slot antenna integrated with a split ring resonator (SRR) and feed line, designed to achieve a high Q-factor while maximizing channel capacity utilization. By incorporating a lens into the dielectric resonator antenna (DRA), we enhance both bandwidth and directivity, with the dielectric material's permittivity serving as a key control parameter for radiation characteristics. We explore water and ethanol as controllable dielectrics within the terahertz (THz) frequency range (0.

Visual hallucinations (VH) and pareidolia, a type of minor hallucination, share common underlying mechanisms. However, the similarities and differences in their brain regions remain poorly understood in Parkinson's disease (PD). A total of 104 drug-naïve PD patients underwent structural MRI and were assessed for pareidolia using the Noise Pareidolia Test (NPT) were enrolled.

Chronic ischemia in moyamoya disease (MMD) impaired white matter microstructure and neural functional network. However, the coupling between cerebral blood flow (CBF) and functional connectivity and the association between structural and functional network are largely unknown. 38 MMD patients and 20 sex/age-matched healthy controls (HC) were included for T1-weighted imaging, arterial spin labeling imaging, resting-state functional MRI and diffusion tensor imaging.

Introduction: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is now diagnosed biologically. Since subjective cognitive decline (SCD) may indicate preclinical AD, assessing AD-biomarkers is crucial. We investigated cognitive and neurodegenerative trajectories in SCD over 24 months based on biomarker positivity, and evaluated the predictive value of plasma biomarkers.

Introduction: Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) is linked to memory complaints and disruptions in certain brain regions identified by molecular imaging and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging studies. However, it remains unclear how these regions interact to contribute to both subjective and potential objective memory issues in SCD.

Methods: To address this gap, task-based imaging studies are essential.
