Postoperative fever following neuroendoscopic procedures has been well-documented, yet specific differentiation based on the nature and site of the procedure remains lacking. Given the anatomical involvement of the hypothalamus in temperature regulation, we propose that endoscopic third ventriculostomy (ETV) may have a distinct impact on postoperative fever. This study aims to investigate this phenomenon.

Background: Deloyers technique addresses challenges in restoring bowel continuity following extended left hemicolectomies. Despite being first described in 1958, the technique remains underutilized, with limited data on long-term outcomes.
Objective: To evaluate the indications, surgical and functional outcomes of Deloyers technique and review existing literature.

Objective: For neonatal repair of coarctation of the aorta, patients may either undergo thoracotomy with extended end-to-end anastomosis or sternotomy for aortic arch reconstruction with cardiopulmonary bypass. The objective of this study was to evaluate the comparative effectiveness of the 2 approaches in patients with arch hypoplasia.
Methods: This is a single-center retrospective cohort study from July 2005 through May 2022 of patients who underwent neonatal repair for isolated coarctation of the aorta with additional arch hypoplasia.

Background: While several studies have reported on outcomes of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in patients with single ventricle physiology, few studies have described outcomes of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR) in this unique population. The objective of this study was to determine survival and risk factors for mortality after ECPR in single ventricle patients prior to superior cavopulmonary anastomosis, using a large sample from the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO) Registry.
Methods: We included single ventricle patients who underwent ECPR for in-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) between January 2012 and December 2021.

Background: Hand-sewn Kono-S anastomosis is safe and associated with a reduction in post-operative recurrence (POR) in Crohn's disease (CD). The study aims to investigate the advantages of stapled Kono-S in Crohn's patients with intestinal anastomosis.
Methods: Crohn's patients undergoing intestinal anastomosis were reviewed via a prospectively maintained database.
