We present a genome assembly from an individual male (the Common Emerald; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence is 501.7 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.05 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 18,477 protein coding genes.

Objective: The prevalence of breast cancer and gynaecological cancers is high, and these cancer types can occur consecutively as secondary cancers. The aim of our study is to determine the genes commonly expressed in these cancers and to identify the common hub genes and drug components.

Materials And Methods: Gene intensity values of breast cancer, gynaecological cancers such as cervical, ovarian and endometrial cancers were used from the Gene Expression Omnibus database Affymetrix Human Genome U133 Plus 2.

The complete mitochondrial genome of the deep-sea methanotrophic sponges and : leveraging 'waste' in metagenomic data.

Programa de Pos-graduacao em Ciencias Biologicas (Genetica), Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A significant proportion of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data ends up not being used since they comprise information out-of-scope of the primary studies. This 'waste' of potential can be harnessed to explore organellar genomes, such as the mitochondrial DNA, and be used for evolutionary, conservation and biodiversity research. We present the complete mitochondrial genomes of the deep-sea methanotrophic sponges and (Demospongiae, Poecilosclerida) retrieved from previously published whole metagenome sequencing data.

In China, medicinal with double flowers (DFs) does not produce seeds, yet it possesses significantly higher paeoniflorin content compared with its single-flowered counterpart. The propagation of medicinal with DFs relies solely on rhizomes. However, due to economic motivations, the rhizomes of medicinal with single flowers (SFs) are often mixed with those of medicinal with DFs.

SARS-CoV-2 Envelope (E) protein is critical in viral assembly, release, and virulence. E gene was considered highly conserved and evolving slowly. Pan-sarbecoviruses-conserved regions in the E gene have been used as targets for various RT-PCR assays to detect SARS-CoV-2.
