There is limited comprehensive understanding regarding the level of drug adherence to antihypertensive medications in Ethiopia, particularly in the study area. Majusculamide D, isolated from the marine cyanobacterium , is an anticancer lipopentapeptide consisting of fatty acid, tripeptide, and pyrrolyl proline moieties. In this work, by utilizing a convergent synthetic approach, late-stage modification, and bioisostere strategy, 26 majusculamide D analogues were synthesized, and two ( and ) demonstrated IC values < 1 nM against PANC-1 cancer cells. The results summarized a preliminary structure-activity relationship mainly at the C23, C4, C34, and C10 sites.

Objectives: Marburg virus disease (MVD) is on the WHO list for pandemic-prone pathogens. The current outbreak in Rwanda provides an opportunity to map outbreaks and generate information to inform policymaking, resource mobilization, and guide the implementation of cost-effective response strategies.
Methods: We synthesized available information about MVD to build holistic, up-to-date evidence to inform policymakers, public health leaders, and healthcare and public health services providers in their development and implementation of cost-effective preparedness, prevention, and control measures.

Access and uptake of COVID-19 vaccine by persons with disabilities remains largely unknown in low-and middle-income countries, despite the unique barriers they face, their special vulnerabilities and higher risk to severe outcomes. We aimed to identify behavioral and social predictors of COVID-19 uptake among persons with disability in Kenya. A convergent parallel mixed method study design was conducted among 792 persons with disability in four regions (counties) in Kenya.
