Atomic simulations aim to understand and predict complex physical phenomena, the success of which relies largely on the accuracy of the potential energy surface description and the efficiency to capture important rare events. LASP software (large-scale atomic simulation with a Neural Network Potential), released in 2018, incorporates the key ingredients to fulfill the ultimate goal of atomic simulations by combining advanced neural network potentials with efficient global optimization methods. This review introduces the recent development of the software along two main streams, namely, higher intelligence and more automation, to solve complex material and reaction problems.

Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is an age-related small vessel disease pathologically characterized by the progressive accumulation of amyloid-beta (Aβ) peptide in cerebrovascular walls, affecting both cortical and leptomeningeal vessels. Amyloid deposition results in fragile vessels, which may lead to lobar intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and cognitive impairment. To evaluate the probability and severity of CAA, the imaging markers depicted on CT and MRI techniques are crucial, as brain pathological examination is highly invasive.

From the Department of Quality Control, Yuebei People's Hospital, Shantou University Medical College, Shaoguan, China.
Objective: The aim of this study was to modify the Chinese version of the Menopause Symptom Assessment Scale (MSAS) and evaluate its validity and reliability.
Methods: An expert panel from the gynecology and nursing domain determined items that should remain or be revised, and 30 participants were selected for the pilot study. A total of 255 women who met the criteria for inclusion were enrolled in the investigation.
