The disease is endemic in affected areas due to the lack of availability and access to antivenom, despite it being the standard treatment for snakebites. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting BCMA has shown efficacy in relapsed or refractory MM, but it faces resistance due to antigen loss and the tumor microenvironment. Bispecific T-cell engaging (BITE) antibodies also encounter clinical challenges, including short half-lives requiring continuous infusion and potential toxicities.

Despite frequent occurrences, especially throughout the Appalachian region, fish bite injuries remain largely underreported. Muskellunge anglers are at a particularly heightened risk due to the fish's large mouth and notably sharp teeth. We present a case of a male who sustained an injury to the right volar thumb following a muskellunge bite.

Background: CD3 bispecific antibody (CD3 bsAb) therapy has become an established treatment modality for some cancer types and exploits endogenous T cells irrespective of their specificity. However, durable clinical responses are hampered by immune escape through loss of tumor target antigen expression. Induction of long-lasting tumor-specific immunity might therefore improve therapeutic efficacy, but has not been studied in detail yet for CD3 bsAbs.
